The Cabbage Diet !
This is a one week diet

Follow this diet EXACTLY and you too can loose weight fast. I lost 7lbs in a week, a friend lost 8lbs in a week. And this food is good for your body!

General
Overview
Drink as much water as possible troughout the week.
NO consumption of Bread or bread products
Eat as much soup as you want
NO carbonated drinks
Day One
Eat Fruit today, NO bananas, and soup. Drink: Water, tea or Cranberry juices.
Day Two
Eat Vegetables, a baked potato with one pat of butter, and soup.
Day Three
Eat Fruit, NO bananas, Vegetables, and Soup.
You can add one can (7oz) sliced mushrooms to the soup today if you like.
Day Four
Bananas upto Eight (8), and soup. Drink as much skim milk as possible today.
Day Five
Soup, Beef 10-20 ounces (cooked any way - several steaks), eat as many tomatoes as you want. Drink 8 Glasses of Water today. *You can substitute broiled fish for the beef.
Day Six
Beef again today 10-20 ounces, no potatoes and Vegetables. Soup if you want. *You can substitute chicken or fish for beef today.
Day Seven
Brown rice, vegetables and soup. Drink unsweetened fruit juice today.

SOUP
Recipe
1 Bunch of green onions - chop finely
2 Green peppers - Chop into pieces
2 Cans (15oz) Whole Tomatoes - Cut into pieces, incl. can juices in soup
1 Bunch of celery - Chop finely
1 Head of Cabbage, cut into 1 inch square pieces
2 Envelopes (1box) Lipton(or other) Onion Soup Mix
3 Tsp Chicken Bouillon (cubes can be used)

You need a LARGE stock pot. Place 9 cups water into pot and begin boiling. As water heats cut and place vegetables (onions, peppers, celery and cabbage) into pot. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Add cut tomatoes with their can juices, and add soup mix and bouillon. Continue cooking for 20 minutes.
Soup is now ready to be eaten. SUGGESTION: Prepare soup the night before starting the diet. You can place the soup in individual plastic containers to microwave daily or to take for lunches. Or keep in all in the pot and use stove to heat daily. POTS OF SOUP: For one person, you may need to make another pot of soup, depending on daily consumption. If two persons are dieting at the same time, you will need to make a second pot mid-week.

Beef, several steaks to amount to 20-40 ounces
* Or equiv. quan. fish or chicken
Fruits - remember this is all you are eating for a week
Vegetables - same
Tea - unsweetened or cranberry juices
1 gallon Skim milk
1 bunch bananas
1 baking potato
Several tomatoes (if you like them)
1 Box Brown rice (slow cook or instant)
1 "jug" unsweetened fruit juice
